We tasted 5 different wines, including orange and natural wines. All the wines tasted we're using native grape vararties and from small producers, even some that Kalin made himself. All very good.Wines were accompanied with local cheeses. A very enjoyable evening and even brought a few bottles to bring home. If you have any interest in trying wines from Bulgaria when in Sofia you must do this experience. Thank you Kalin”

From the many wine tasting experiences we have signed up to around the world, this is definitely one of the best - both in terms of the knowledge of the host, as well as the high quality of the produce. We were encouraged to stay at the venue after the wine tasting to try more wines and both Lyubomir and Maria recommended some great wines!l which carried a super personal touch! Would highly recommend this family…”

“My friend and I had a great trip to the Rila Monastery and Wine Tasting. Our guide Victor was excellent and gave us much information about the Monastery that we would have never known had we gone on our own. We had a nice lunch in a cozy restaurant where Victor continued to share personal stories of the Bulgarian history with us, which was all very eye opening. The winery part was good, perhaps a little rushed, but the wine was excellent. I highly recommend this tour for a personalized experience with loads of information. It was a great combination of sightseeing, walking and relaxation.”

Burgas Exquisite Wine Tasting - Traditional appetizers make the tasting more useful

Burgas Exquisite Wine Tasting

15.Burgas Exquisite Wine Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 8 reviews · 1 hour (approx.) · from $72

Taste four Bulgarian wines with local appetizers and a sommelier in Burgas, then weigh the value, timing, location issue, and booking risks.

“The online description specifically states the tasting takes place in Burgas, Bulgaria and there is a lunch or dinner time option. I called to confirm, and Viator confirmed the info. We booked less than a day ahead. The email said the tour is in Nessebar, Bulgaria, 40 kilometers from Burgas and 45 minutes away. Along with a 4 pm start time. I am now disputing the charge as the city and start time are entirely different from the web page.”
